Hou Mei (好味) International -- a great place for you and your family

Literally translated, "Hou Mei" is reffered "Delicious" or "Good Taste" in Cantonese. It's a new restaurant which serves international cuisine, equipped with modern wooden
furnishing.

Personally, I prefer the open kitchen style in this restaurant, allowing me to view the process of food preparation. It's like a "real show" to see the flames, steam and clattering in the kitchen, which I'm only able to see it live on the TV programmes!

I got myself their signature dish -- Taiwanese Sesame Oil and Chinese Wine Vermicelli Noodle.
A bowl full of flavors! The amount of sesame oil and Chinese wine are just fine enough to bring out your appetite. If you need something to warm you up because of the cold weather at Genting Highlands, this is defintely the right choice for you.

One great thing about Hou Mei is that you can even find your favorite Malacca Chicken Rice Balls on the menu! How awesome is that!

You don't have to go all the way to Malacca anymore!

Japanese Udon Noodle Soup
Light and comforting soup topped with crunchy deep fried flour batter, seaweed, and green onion

Hot Cha Soba with Seafood
The smooth texture of the Soba, and prawns are fresh enough that you can taste the natural sweetness. The soup has a mild hotness, suitable for those who only want light spicy for their meal.

The Pan Mee with Anchovies comes with the choice of soup or dry version. We decided to order the dry version of Pan Mee as we have already try out few noodles soup. It's great to find out that the Pan Mee is well-cooked. It doesn't taste powdery and has plenty of crispy fried garlic.
Definetely an added value for its taste and flavour!

Claypot Chicken Rice with Salted Fish
The salted fish and marinated chicken are just the perfect combination. Salted fish is chopped finely, so you can enjoy every single bit of it. The best part of this one-pot dish is the crusted burned rice at the base of the pot!

Colorful healthy juices from
 Simply Fresh!
A fruit bar located at the front of Hou Mei.

Dessert : Black Herbal Jelly

Dessert : Crispy Pancake with Lotus Seed Paste

Dessert : Cut Chilled Fruits

If you dislike the bitterness of Black Herbal Jelly, you could try out their

Mango Pudding & Almond Jelly.

This restaurant located at Level 1, Resort Hotel, Genting Highlands.

Can't wait for my next food trip with my friends!
