WHO LOVES HONEY?????

I love honey and have them since at a pretty young age. Honey is the natural sweetener on Earth and it benefits all of us. The color and essence of the honey differs depending on the nectar supply visited by the honey bees. Honey gives us numerous health benefits. It helps us to prevent cancer and heart disease, decrease ulcers and other gastrointestinal disorders, act as anti-bacterial, reduce cough and throat irritation and etc. And of course, honey gives us beautiful skin too!

Have you ever wonder how honey is produced? Have you ever try fresh raw honey? Then you should have visited Happy Bee Farm! Happy Bee Farm is a place where you can get on a simple tour on knowledge for honey bees such as different species of bees and their characteristics. 

                  These are some of the cute decoration upon the entrance!

This is a very safe, clean and cooling surrounding. Thus, need not worry about being sting by the bee. It is an incredibly good opportunity for education. There is also a very friendly bee’s expert explaining about how the honeys are produced, different species of bees and he also give us a spoonful of fresh raw honey! Hmm… He is practically the expert of everything!  

We have also visited the latest attraction which is Butterfly Wonderland. Yes! Just like their name, it’s a wonderland with colorful butterflies flying around us! It’s a perfect place where we get to socialize with those butterflies in a safe and comfortable environment. 

There’s a specially built landscape garden with different species of floras and a waterfall too!   

There are a few artificial spots which is awesome for photo- taking like this gigantic beetle and ladybird 

In addition, they also have huge collections of bugs’ to be cherished in Insect World. We get to exposed and got on a simple tour on knowledge for the insect’s family with the insects expert. We get to know more about the facts and information by taking the insect tour with the expert. He also educates us regarding insect specimens and their ecosystem to the visiting group and this is absolutely a benefit for the young ones. 

One of the things that attract me the most is WE GET TO SEE LIVE ATTRACTIONS OF BUGS SPECIMEN! We get to visit the insect specimen’s laboratory too! 

It’s a place where the expert prepares to mount the insects for display. He explains the process steps by steps. 

There are also various honey products available such as pure honey, wild ginger honey, propolis balm, propolis honey, honey sticks and etc.

NATURE’S LOVE Part 2

So, I have shared some of my journey up the hill (hmm..not really up the hill).. haha.. This time I’ll be sharing about Orchid Farm! Well, I’m not really a person who has deep knowledge about Orchids. They’re just so pretty that I don’t think any girls will refuse to visit this place. 

 

There’s a small road leading to this orchid farm as this farm not noticeable from the main road.

Let the pretties do the talking now. 

Not enough of Orchids? You can buy them in full bloom at the special section in which makes them the prettiest and most appealing section in the farm!

And of course, there’s a seedling cultivation section in the farm.

NATURE’S LOVE Part 1

Strawberries have been my best friend since I was very young. I couldn’t forget the first time I had them. It gives me shivers right after I bite them (that’s because I always eat them chilled). Haha.. With its vibrant red, I believe they are most of girl’s favorite!

I went to Genting Strawberry Leisure Farm last month with Yee Ler as we both L.O.V.E.S. Strawberries! We can purchase strawberries by plucking them directly and paying by weight. It’s a popular activity among the family. 

There’s a colorful strawberry fountain display welcome visitor to the farm. 

Now, WHATS MORE EXCITING THAN PLUCKING OUR OWN STRAWBERRIES? YUMMMMM~~~ 

          

 

     

Look at those colors! Sooooo lively and yummy… =P

Its okay if you do not want to dirty your hand plucking strawberries, there are packets of affordable fresh plucked strawberries for you. 

     

Can’t get enough of fresh strawberries? There are various strawberries products that are available such as strawberry jam, strawberry drink, soft toy, strawberry flavored mineral water, strawberry with chocolate dip and etc. 

There are also a charming café serving strawberry treats. Look at their customized strawberry themed table and chair! If you’re going with kids, I’m pretty sure your kids will love it! Haha.. 

Then, we visited Lavender Garden which is within the strawberry farm. It’s a place where we can take pictures and smell aromatic lavender. There are various types of flowers other than lavender. It’s a very good place for education as well!

                                                                   

It’s a wonderland full of colors. You can see how happy is those kids looking at those colorful flowers. There’s even a couple taking pre-wedding photos! 

 Genting Strawberry Leisure Farm can be easily reached by taking left from the roundabout past Hotel Seri Malaysia (if coming from Karak highway) and follow the road all the way to its end.
